CMATA

Professional Member

 

Professional Members are qualified massage therapists who have met CMATA's educational, competency, and membership requirements as outlined in the Qualification section. Professional Members are recognized by the association as eligible to provide professional massage and acupressure therapy services within the CMATA Scope of Practice.

Professional Members are authorized to use their CMATA membership designation and may issue insurance receipts for eligible services, subject to the requirements of insurers, applicable laws, and CMATA policies.

Student Member

​

Student Membership is available to individuals currently enrolled in a massage therapy training program who have not yet met the requirements for Professional Membership.

​

Student Members may not represent themselves as Professional Members and may not issue insurance receipts under CMATA membership.
