Professional Member's Qualification

Professional Members of CMATA with active status are massage therapists who meet the following qualifications: 

​

 Level One – Acupressure Massage Therapist   

​

• Over 18 years old;

• Successfully completed a 1000-hour (in-class and practice) massage therapy program, of which 100-hour acupressure massage study is a must;

• Committed to undertaking the code of ethics, policies and regulations of the Association;

• Fulfill the continuing education requirement of the Association;

• Carry professional liability insurance;

• Pay the annual due of professional membership.

 

Level Two – Senior Acupressure Massage Therapist (Massologist)

​

• Over 18 years old;

• Successfully completed a 2000-hour (in-class and practice) massage therapy program, of which 250-hour acupressure massage study is a must;

• Committed to undertaking the code of ethics, policies and regulations of the Association;

• Fulfill the continuing education requirement of the Association;

• Carry professional liability insurance;

• Pay the annual due of professional membership.
